Gwendolyn is a licensed acupuncturist holding a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. Her training includes modalities in acupuncture, cupping, bodywork and Chinese herbal medicine. Gwen trained as an intern for four years under PhD Jefferey Dann in Boulder, Colorado, learning Japanese Meridian therapy. During acupuncture school she had the opportunity to study at Heilong Jiang University Hospital in Harbin, China, a hospital specializing in neurological conditions and recovery. Gwen also practices Sports Medicine Acupuncture and enjoys treating athletes and helping them both with recovery and performance goals.

Gwen considers herself a local Coloradoan; however, she grew up internationally, due to her father’s work as a director of Peace Corps. She started Kindergarten in Dhaka, Bangladesh and finished high school at the American English Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria. Gwen first moved to the mountains to attend Colorado Mountain College in Leadville in 2012. After graduating acupuncture school she decided to move back and make it home.

Gwen is an avid ultra endurance runner and enjoys long training days outside with her dog, Roxy. During the winter she enjoys competing in ski mountaineering races and backcountry skiing. In the summer she enjoys rock climbing around the Arkansas Valley with her husband, Liam.
